After aluminum eXactMat™ and Mantis™ made of cloths, Razer went for plastic. The new mousepad – Razer Destructor™. Let's get it a closer look.
Packaging
Razer Destructor comes packed in a carrying case covered in a fabric which was used for placing of some enthusiastic slogans by Razer's marketing people – 37% faster tracking and higher sensitivity of laser sensor!!! (I guess how do they manage to measure that kind of stuff :) ) On the back part of the carrying box, four gamers participating on mousepad's developing are giving their positive opinions on new destructor.

Let's explore what's under packaging. The carrying case is coated in black cloth, with green Razer logo on the top. You're asking, if there's a notebook inside. Mousepad is tucked inside the box, protected with soft foam covered with suede-like material.
Razer no.
Technical parameters and closer look
Dimensions: 350mm x 280mm x 2,3mm
Surface: plastic - Razer Fractal™
Made for sensor: laser and optic
Weight: c. 213g
Destructor's surface is made of dark grey plastic material with a very fine structure Razer Fractal™. With its shape it's reminding its older brother eXactMat. There's a Razer logo in the right upper part and Destructor sign in the left-down part. Angels are rounded so no-wounds for your mouse.

The mousepad is made of two layers, the back of Destructor features anti-slip rubber material, ensuring that the mousepad won't slide on your table, while gaming.
Practical experiences
The mousepad is dedicated for gamers with higher sensitivity in hands, who are not used to make long movements, but are OK with use of wrist. Whereas for gamers with lower sensitivity in hands, the size of Razer mousepad will not be according to me sufficient enough. Comparing with my Detrukt XL dimesions, Razer Destructor offers the half surface.

You mouse will be speedy as a flash on new Razer Destructor. The surface is extra smooth and it enables you super resolution and allows you to have your work always under control.
By moving the mouse on surface, mouse teflon material comes in contact with plastic Fractal surface. As a result, Razer Destructor is not as silent as usual cloth gaming surfaces, but that's a typical feature of all plastic surfaces.

Material used for Razer Destructor gives it robust and resistant look, and you don't have to be afraid to handle the surface more roughly. Surface's latitude is 2.3 mm, what is OK, there are not going to be any striae on your forearm, as I still record my hands using plastic X-Ray Thunder. The inferior rubber part makes surface very stable even with speed movements.
Conclusion
Razer Destructor™ prize is quite high, varying around 30 dollars. With Razer Destructor, you got superb gaming surface, which I can recommend to all gamers using sensitive mouse, and which can appreciate its smooth and speedy surface. Razer Destructor comes in stylish case, which will surely make you cool on every LAN.
