Zalman has packaged the control unit in an elegant, classical black box. Prosaic, sedate and discreet choice of colours without fleshy labelling gives the packaging hint of seriousness and simplicity.

On the back side of the black box, you can find closer product features and specifications together with the information about content of the packaging. Description of the product is displayed on the lateral sides of the box. Fan controller is very carefully placed inside a package, to prevent damage during shipping.

After the opening of the black packaging, you'll find controller unit, together with users manual with detailed scheme with pictures for easily understandable installation, even for those who don't understand English or Chinese language, in which it is written.

Once the controller is out of the box, you'll find another white cardboard box which houses the additional gear – four Fan extension cables to plug the fan into the motherboard, four temperature sensors with adhesive tapes, CVS current/voltage sensor, one wire nearly identical to a USB port to connect CVS with panel and set of screws. Now let's skip to the most interesting part of the review.
